Courage to Start a Business

Do you want to build your own business? Are you thinking about opening a business? Consider and read the article below for your answer.

Every year, tens of thousands of new businesses are established. Each business wants to implement its ideas and create initial success. But that desire is always followed by the phrase "someday".

However, “someday” is really hard to predict exactly and many people accept the answer: “when the conditions are right”. The conditions here can be understood as having good experience or a certain understanding in the field of pursuit as well as understanding the market, gathering a number of like-minded people, a business environment or laws that create many favorable conditions for investment…

Last but not least is investment capital. Here we would like to discuss briefly the issue of “where does the money come from” to establish a business and its role in the start-up step.

There is a paradox that is not a paradox that most successful businessmen do not always have a good start. To build a career and have a name like today, they had to start from zero, even drop out of school to pursue their dreams.

Universities and courses around the world often teach how to be a boss, that is, how to run a business. Unfortunately, they often do not mention how to start a successful business.

If you are highly qualified, work for a large company, earn a good salary, and use your savings to start a company, while still wanting to keep your old job, then it is certain that the company will not go anywhere. In fact, no company can succeed and survive this way.

Or a spontaneous decision (like winning the lottery) to open a company to satisfy one's passion is another path that can easily lead to failure.

Taking over an asset (money or business) that you have never worked with can easily lead to getting bogged down and going downhill.

Raising capital by painting a beautiful vision has also led many people to failure. Business expansion is not a straight path that any business can achieve when starting out without the knowledge and agility to survive in today's fiercely competitive environment.

So what to do when you do not have a solid financial foundation for starting a business? If you have ever been formally trained, you will immediately think of According to calculations, it takes xxx million VND to start a business, so:

– Keep saving money and wait? When will it be enough? Will there still be a chance for me then?

– Borrowing money? Who will lend money when you are a newbie? How can you borrow enough money to make an idea work?

– Luck? Who knows when it will come?

– Sell your assets (if any)? Your current life is not stable yet, should you cause more trouble? You are already tired of worrying about business, now you have to worry about life, can you handle it?

– Bringing ideas to connect with rich people? It's also difficult, and will they take over?

A series of questions raised that made many people have the ambition to do great things but eventually retreated. So there is a saying that only those who have the courage can get rich. They may or may not have enough answers to the above questions but certainly even if they encounter obstacles in investment capital, they will not be discouraged.

A keen intuition will guide a person in his first steps much more than any book knowledge or money he has in hand. Of course, this intuition is not everything and will not lead anywhere if not combined with a very important quality – courage.

This sometimes manifests itself as a kind of "recklessness", which also causes many people to misunderstand the reason for the success of many entrepreneurs: "It's because he has a reckless spirit and is lucky to have the right time."

If you have the desire and aspiration to become a successful entrepreneur, the path ahead of you cannot be a bed of roses. Knowing how to recognize and predict the challenges and risks you will encounter will help increase your chances of success. There is a saying that "failure is the mother of success", this is further proven in the business environment when the world's largest enterprises have been on the brink of bankruptcy more than once.

You can create capital for yourself in many ways, but it must be based on a belief that money challenges are created by you (not objective circumstances) and they are created with the purpose of being overcome.

This is obviously true: you want to be a boss – something harder than what you're doing – something that's more likely to fail than anything you've ever succeeded at.

There is no formula for the amount of capital needed to start a business, nor how to get that capital, but courage but quickness, along with thorough market research will bring you the first steps in your business career. That is courage.
