On the occasion of the upcoming training trip to Vietnam by Mr. Reggie Carney, one of the world's leading instructors of John C. Maxwell's programs called \u201cThe Laws of Teamwork\u201d<\/em> (Roughly translated as \u201cThe rules of fast teamwork\u201d<\/em>) Marketing \\\/Viet Nam Magazine has received a short article by Mr. John C. Maxwell himself about the secret of teamwork. The magazine would like to translate the article to help readers understand more about this resource in the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Famous as a master in the art of leadership and effective work, but few people know that it was not until the age of 40 that John C. Maxwell realized the full value of teamwork? Since then, he has published two books sharing about this issue, namely \u201c21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership\u201d<\/em> (The 21 Irrefutable Laws of leadership) and \u201c17 Immutable Laws of Teamwork\u201d<\/em> (The 17 Indisfutable Laws of Teamwork). Indeed, everyone agrees that \u201cthree trees together make a mountain\u201d, but the problem is that not everyone can work effectively in a team. There are people who think that \u201cif I am good, I can still succeed without working with anyone\u201d? That is what Maxwell discovered to be \u201ccompletely wrong\u201d, when he entered his 40s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the age of 40, thinking back on the path he had taken, John C. Maxwell realized that he had worked very hard, seriously and could be said to have helped many people. But what he had achieved still did not satisfy him, he felt as if something was still missing. And then, Maxwell realized that he had only focused on developing his own abilities, but had not developed the abilities of a working group. Meanwhile, a person's success is not measured by the number of awards or gifts he received, nor by his talent or the opportunities he had. It lies in how effectively he can develop his working group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maxwell mentioned a law that can change a person's life in his book \u201cThe 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership\u201d<\/em> \u2013 that is the \u201claw of the circle of influence\u201d. The law can be rephrased as follows: the people closest to you will determine the level of your success. And he did exactly what he wrote, the number one priority at that time was to develop an effective working group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this day \u2013 more than 20 years later \u2013 Maxwell's time and effort are still invested primarily in this work more than anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
